Hello Everyone!

It’s been a busy, busy month around here…lot’s of sports, activities, homework, and projects! Sometimes it’s so crazy it makes me wish I was someplace else - I’ll give you three guesses where that place would be!

I know many of you are heading down to Disney in the next month or two. What a great time of year to visit the parks! The fantastic decorations and holiday atmosphere will most definitely put you in the Christmas mood! It is by far my most favorite time to visit Disney World. So, have fun and be sure to check out the tips section for all kinds of trip tips.

Let’s get the housekeeping items out of the way. First, a reminder to those traveling to Disney World from now through April. Your 180 day window is now open. For those going in May 2010, your 180 day point is quickly approaching! Get ready to make all of your dining reservations and set your alarm for 7:00 am eastern time on your reservation day! Or you can go online system at http://disneyworld.disney.go.com/dining/. For those going before then, hopefully you have already made all of your desired reservations.

**Note that the ADR window is now 180 days as of October 27th, 2009.** In order to aid guests in their planning, the park hours will also be released 180 days in advance. Yay!!

Guests may now book their advanced dining reservations 180 days in advance. This change was effective on October 27th, 2009. Note that for some reservations a credit card may be required to secure the reservation.

Typhoon Lagoon will be closed for refurbishment until January 10th, 2010. Blizzard Beach will be open during this period of time.

Finding Nemo Musical reserved seating changes

You can get tickets to the Finding Nemo musical if you make reservations at Tusker House at Animal Kingdom. All you have to do is make a reservation for lunch at Tusker House between 1:00 pm and 1:40 pm and you will receive a ticket for reserved seating at the 3:15 pm Finding Nemo show. If you make a Tusker House reservation between 1:50 pm and 2:45 pm, you’ll get tickets for the 4:45 performance. You are asked to arrive 30 minutes prior to show time.

Temporary Changes to the Liberty Tree Tavern

The Liberty Tree Tavern, located in the Magic Kingdom, will temporarily be having character meals. This change will take place starting on January 3rd, 2010 and continue through February 15th, 2010. The purpose of this change is to accommodate for the closure of the Crystal Palace during this time period. The Liberty Tree Tavern will offer character dining for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. All meals will be served family style and are all-you care-to-enjoy.
