The Disney Scoop, Issue #032– Disney Discounts, News, Tips, and more….
July 30, 2011
Welcome to the Summer edition of the Disney Scoop! I hope that you all are enjoying these lazy, hazy days of summer….it sure has been a hot one so far! Thankfully my family was able to escape the heat for a while – we ventured out West this year….Grand Teton National Park, Yellowstone, Bryce Canyon, Grand Canyon, Hoover Dam, Vegas, and finally Disneyland!! Whew….we need a vacation from our vacation! We saw fantastic sights and loved every minute of the trip.
But, back to my favorite vacation destination – Disney World! First and foremost, an exciting rumor regarding free dining has been going around….(see the news below for details…)
If you have an upcoming trip planned, I hope you have already made your dining reservations, If not, I’d advise you to finalize your choices and make those reservations as soon as possible.
For those traveling to Disney World in February 2012 or after, your 180 day point is quickly approaching! Get ready to make all of your dining reservations and set your alarm for 7:00 am eastern time on your reservation day! Or you can use the online system at http://disneyworld.disney.go.com/reservations/dining/. It is soooo easy to use that online system. I love it!

|If the Magic Kingdom has extra magic hours or remains open after the “Wishes” fireworks display, ride, ride, ride! We have practiced this tip numerous times.A vast amount of people leave the park after the fireworks, this allows access to the rides. We went in January 2011, and both times we were in the park after Wishes we rode at least 5 to 6 of the major attractions with little or no wait.
We also noted that the Magic Kingdom is extremely slow on Wednesdays this time of year. One Wednesday we rode any attraction we wanted as much as we wanted.
