Satellite and Aerial Disney World Photos
Looking at satellite and aerial Disney World images is one of my favorite things to do. Even my boys really enjoy this activity! It is a lot of fun to get a bird’s eye view of all the parks, water parks, resorts, and everything thing else in the “world”.
One thing my boys like to do is follow the monorail track all around. They also like to zoom in on the resort pools – especially those at the Polynesian and Beach Club resorts.
We like to use Google Earth to do our aerial viewing of Disney World and numerous other places. It is super easy to use and really is quite fun!
You can even measure distance using Google Earth. Think of it as a kind of graphic pedometer. Try it for yourself. Can you answer these questions?
| How far is the walk around the World Showcase in Epcot?
How long is the walk between the Beach Club and The Disney Studios? |
I use the distance-measuring feature all the time to map out walking routes in my neighborhood. Sure beats driving around in the car trying to measure how far you walked or ran that morning!
Sound like fun? Well, why not try it out. You can download Google Earth right now for free!
