Disney Contemporary Resort Dining
It is worth visiting the Contemporary simply to sample the fare. They have everything from quick bites at the Tempo Grab n Go, delicious steak at the Concourse Steakhouse, Mickey and the Gang at Chef Mickey’s or the ultimate experience at the California Grill where you can view the Magic Kingdom Fireworks while dining. The kids will really enjoy dining with Mickey and the gang at Chef Mickey’s. The atmosphere is very party-like comploete with a napkin-waving sing along! Plus the ice cream bar is fantastic!! Remember – it is all about fireworks and ice cream for my kids! And don’t forget The California Grill. Located on the top floor of the Contemporary Resort, this restaurant offers the best in California cuisine, coupled with an outstanding view of the Magic Kingdom. Note that the California Grill is considered a Signature Dining Restaurant and will require two table service credits per person if you are using one of the Dining Plans. TIP: Try to get a reservation corresponding to the time of the Magic Kingdom fireworks. The music is piped in and the view cannot be beat!
