Park Hours

Please use the links below for the Walt Disney World park hours for the next six months. Hours for the previous six months are also included for your reference.

• Magic Kingdom Hours
• EPCOT Hours
• Disney Hollywood Studios Hours
• Animal Kingdom Hours
• Blizzard Beach Hours
• Typhoon Lagoon Hours

Park hours and Parades and Fireworks schedules are released six months in advance. Disney used to release these hours only three months early. If you ask me, that was just not soon enough! I like to have all the park hours in front of me before I plan out my vacation.

Why worry about the park hours so far in advance?

• To aide in creating an outline of your vacation
• To help in selecting times to book whatever experiences you desire

Special consideration should be given to:

• Extra Magic Hours
• Parade Times
• Fireworks Schedule
• Special Events (sometimes the parks close early for special events)

In order to experience many Disney World dining options, Special Events, and other experiences, you definitely need reservations. Many of these reservations can be made six months or more prior to your arrival date.

Obviously, the earlier you have the park hours the better. Given the extreme popularity of Special Events and dining experiences, I guess Disney figured that releasing the park operating hours earlier would be a good idea. I am so glad they did! Being armed with this information this early certainly makes planning a Disney vacation much easier.

So, in a nutshell, as soon as you know that you are going to Disney World, start going through the Step-by-Guide Planning Guide. And then, when you are ready, add the Disney World Park Hours to your Disney Vacation Planning Spreadsheet. Be sure to make notes of Parade and Firework Times and the Extra Magic Hours schedule.
