Below you will find a couple of Grand Floridian maps. This resort is one of the deluxe resorts at Walt Disney World in Orlando, Florida.
The first map is the room-locator map that you are given when you check-in. You can use this map to help you determine which section of the resort you’d like to stay in.
Many times people wish to request a room near the centralized food court/restaurant area, bus stops, or pools. Or maybe you want to be further removed from all of the hustle and bustle associated with those areas.
Room requests (and I stress the word “request” because it is not a guarantee) can be made by calling Disney Reservations at:

The second of the Grand Floridian maps is a detailed aerial view of the resort itself. This is the part I love! To me, all maps and aerial images are a lot of fun to look at, but I especially love those showing Disney World. These aerial images were captured using Google Earth.
If you would like to see more images or learn more about Google Earth, check out the Satellite Photos section. Or if you yourself want to get started with Google Earth right away, click here to .
Besides being fun, all these images are also very useful. Checking out these maps is probably the easiest way to familiarize yourself with the ‘lay of the land’ so to speak. Think about it, you wouldn’t just visit a foreign city without first consulting a map would you? Well, treat Disney World the same way. The more you know about the layout beforehand, the better.
So, check out the maps below to get a feel for the layout and size of your destination.
