Disney Port Orleans Dining

The Port Orleans dining options at the Walt Disney World Resort serve traditional American cuisine with either a Mardi Gras (at the French Qurater) or Cajun / deep South theme (at Riverside).

There is no table service facilitity at the French Quarter section of the resort, but there is over at the Riverside section. Boatwright’s Dining Hall is situated along the Sassagoula River and features décor consisting of unique shipbuilding tools and even a large authentic boat frame.

Note:There is a boat that travels along the Sassagoula River between the two sections of the resort. This same boat also goes to Downtown Disney. So, you could always dine at one of the Downtown Disney restaurants, there are some good ones!

If you stay at Port Orleans, make it a point to see Bob the piano man over at the Riverside Roost Lounge. We accidentally caught his show while on our way home one night, and it was one of the highlights of our vacation! We still talk about his performance and my oldest son is aspiring to be a "rockin' piano guy" when he gets older. (he actually has the talent for it too!!) Bob usually performs Wednesday through Saturday nights from about 8:30 to midnight. Check him out - you will not be disappointed. His full name is Bob Jackson and you can check his schedule at www.yehaabob.com.

Okay, back to the Port Orleans dining info... Each part of the resort (French Quarter and Riverside) has its own food court. Riverside Millis located at – you guessed it – Riverside, and the Sassagoula Floatworks and Food Factory is at the French Quarter. Both are counter service facilities serving breakfast, lunch and dinner, as well as snacks.

The Port Orleans resort does offer Pizza Delivery. You can use the Dining Plan for this option.

Note: Two adult table service meal credits will be redeemed from your balance for the Pizza Delivery Option. Your meal will include one Pizza, two non-alcoholic beverages, and two desserts.

Remember, you can always visit other resorts to dine at their table service restaurants. Doing so gives you the opportunity to check out other resorts and sample some of the best culinary treats that Disney has to offer. A few of my family’s favorites are Spoodles at the Boardwalk, ‘Ohana at the Polynesian, and Chef Mickey’s at the Contemporary Resort.

As always, please be sure to make any and all table-service dining arrangements well in advance of your arrival. All dining reservations (ADRs) can be made by calling:
